My Favorite WordPress Plug-ins
I currently used four specific wordpress plug-ins on my blog. These plug-ins allow me to work easier, while accomplishing more.
Adsense Deluxe
I sometimes like to have small blocks of adsense displayed within my post. In order to do this I needed to upload to my wordpress blog, a plug-in called Adsense Deluxe. This is a wonder add-on and it allows me to insert small blocks of adsense in locations that are more clickable within my post.. Visiting my Islamic post you will see that I have added small blocks of google adsense into my post.
Feed Burner FeedSmith
The feed burner plugin is used to find all the ways to access your wordpress feeds and then it redirects them to your feed burner. This wonderful plug in allows you to track your subscribers.
Khanh's Quick Feeds (aka KQF)
Do you want instant updated feeds with new content? Well, this is a must have for those of you that do not write your own content. You can use this little tool to create feeds that fill your blog pages. For example, check out my feed for Job Opportunities. This page is updated every 24 hours for new information on jobs coming directly to my blog from the encoded feed. This is truly an amazing piece of software and I learned about it on my trusted resource page "The Friday Traffic Report" by Jack Humphre
The Ultimate Tag Warrior
Have you ever wondered what those keywords are at the bottom of the post? Well, to my amazement, after implementing this wordpress tool, the links to my site skyrocketed on a daily basis. The ultimate tag warrior allows you to generate tags for your post. These tags are keywords for the search engines and make a remarkable difference in the traffic to your site.
Ping List
The last thing I'd like to share with you is a very, very important option in your wordpress blog dashboard. This option is called the update service, and it allows wordpress to automatically notify various services of updates to your blog, each time a new post is made. The services listed for notification are called your Ping List. So it is very important to have a list of good services you'd like to ping each time you make a post.
Under options in administration you will see writing, and at the bottom of the page you will see update services. This is where you will list your ping list and then save it. I have provide you with my ping list in my google documents and if you have other services, please take the time to update this list to share with others.
