Work-at-Home Writing step by step Building your Wordpress Blog Inserting adsense on your word press blog is a pretty simple process, but you need to know just a little bit about cut & paste, and html. If you already have your adsense account, I am taking for granted you are familiar with building your code, cut & paste techniques. If not be sure to check out a program review on getting started with adsense. Before you begin you should access your adsense account and create your script, then copy it to your clipboard.
Now, that you have your adsense code on your clipboard, you need to click theme editor under the presentation tab. This will take you to the screen that will allow you to edit your theme. Locate and click on your sidebar file. This will allow you to place your adsense in the side bar with the other widgets you previously chose. Here you can also add your picture html information, your rss feed information, and much more. If you would like to put your adsense code in the header or footer, you would choose the correct file for inserting your code. **remember the files on the right side of your theme editor for editing. Placing adsense code in your header you would open your header file, and placing adsense code into your footer, you would open your footer file.
After locating my sidebar file, I scrolled down to find the area that I'd like to place my adsense code. I decided that I would prefer my code to be under my meta tags, so I pasted it directly under my meta tags code. This is also where I pasted my html code for my picture and my rss feed reader. Because I wanted another adsense script in my header & footer, I repeated the process. First revisiting my adsense setup area to design the correct adsense code to fit my header and footer, and then visiting the theme editor for editing and choosing my header & footer files from the right side. After each adjustment I clicked update my file to save all changes. Most of the other features allow you to customized your word press blog. You should spend time molding your blog to fit your personality before you decide to actually post and start marketing your blog.
