    My second step was to learn all I could about the features of Word Press.  I read everything I could get my hands on, from some of the best advisers I could find. 

 Many people consider the business of real estate when working at home. In this way they are spared from business insurance as all is covered under their home insurance. This is not the right way to use a creditcard and a wrong way to usurp your life insurance.

    I would suggest that you read everything you can get your hands on as it relates to building and marketing your wordpress blog.  Spend time reading what some of the top gurus in your particualar niche advise. 

     During your reading and learning process you should also begin familiarizing yourself with your word press blog dashboard.  Take time to play around in administration and manipulate the various word press functions, so you will become comfortable with using your blog.

   Choosing a Word Press Template

     After logging into your word press administration area, click on presentation.   In presentations you will see the current word press default theme, and below you will see various available word press theme choices.  If you are not satisfied with the list you can visit the directory and upload the theme of your choice directly into your wp-content/themes directory.   I used the default     wordpress theme 1.6

     Widgets in Sidebar of your WordPress Blog

      Also under presentations you will see the widgets tool, which will allow you to decide which widgets you want to place in your sidebar (if you chose the default theme).  Because I wanted to place a google adsense banner in my sidebar I wanted to limit how many widgets I chose for this section.  I decided to go with what I felt were the most relevant for my visitors.

     The category section was a must have.  This tells the visitors all the various categories you have for your post.  In the categories sections you can also choose a parent category, such as how I have separated the two topics (work at home & religion) of our blogs and listed each topic as a parent category. 

     The archives is a must have, as it houses all of your older post.  Recent post was something that I felt would give visitors a view of what was fresh on your blog, so I added recent post. 

     The next tab under presentation is theme editor and this takes me to where I want to insert my google adsense script, so that it will show on each of my pages.
